Polus has offered pharmacy technician training for several years with support from the Commonwealth Corporation, for young adults with disabilities, for unemployed people with barriers to employment, and for people impacted by the pandemic. Candidates attend 6-8 weeks of online training, and we help them navigate the application and interview process. Many people hired into entry-level “Pharmacy Technician in Training” roles go on to complete their 500 hours of required work in a pharmacy and pass their state examination. While on hiatus at the moment, Polus is always on the lookout for employer partners like CVS Health has been, defining their skill needs and actively engaging with students looking to fill their in-demand positions.
