Retail & Customer Service Skills Training Launches for Young Adults With Disabilities

Will you be looking for a job soon and want to learn new skills to get you ready? Participate in Classroom style peer-to-peer discussions, gain independence, grow your confidence, and set out on your work journey!

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts resident
  • Age 18-35 with a disability
  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • 18-22 Transition Program students encouraged to apply!

Classes begin April 22nd 2024 and meet 2 days a week for 6 weeks over Zoom from 9AM to 1PM. Students may join either the Monday/Wednesday track or the Tuesday/Thursday track.

After training and upon completion, students receive $100.00 along with a certificate of completion. The Polus Center staff will continue working with students for employment opportunities until June 30tth, and our partners at MassHire will continue to offer resources.

There is no cost for applicants. This is a grant-funded program through the generous Commonwealth Corporation.
