The Polus Center’s international programs are funded through various public institutions, both U.S. and international, private foundations, and individual donors. Major support comes from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, and The Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM/WRA).
For the U.S. programs, Polus appreciates the support and partnerships with numerous state agencies and foundations, including the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB), the Commonwealth Corporation, the Readers’ Digest Partners for Sight Foundation, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute (MEEI), the Sarah Coizert Foundation, the Barre Savings Bank Foundation, and the Avidia Bank Foundation. We partner closely with the MassHire North Central Workforce Board and Thryv Consulting to provide our job-driven training programs.
